We had our Christmas program on Tuesday night and then just regular stuff the rest of the week, but it took forever to get thru!!
I'm so glad it's the weekend and that we will have a mostly short week ahead. This morning, I went out with 4 little girls from my class who had been invited to go on a morning out with me by one of them who purchased the time with me at our annual school auction.
They were so wound up when I got to the school to pick them up!! Then we went to Cracker Barrel to eat. Although, as we walked in a gentleman who was leaving commented about how grandma had her hands full today.........I txtd Jn and told him what the man said and asked him if I looked like a grandma. He replied, no of course not.......I said back - Good answer!! We ate and then went to a bead place, where the girls each made a bracelet and I made a cool necklace. However, it got really busy and we needed to get back to the school to meet their parents, so I had to leave mine and I'll go back another day and do it! It was a lot of fun!!!
Not much else really going on. This weekend will be my baking weekend, so I can't blog-hop too much today!
Later!

sounds like a fun time. hope you get some time to relax.
Why don't they have a Cracker Barrel in the Northeast? Or a Sonic? All summer I covet those slushy things that they advertise!
Anyway, I'll bet your girls felt like stars getting to spend the morning with you. What a cool idea to bring them beading.
What are you baking this weekend? I should do all of mine ahead, too. I'm just never sure of which cookies freeze well.
Have fun decking your halls!
Great post. I've always felt that being out an about with my sons with Down syndrome was the best.
6 months after Josh was born with Down syndrome, I attended my first parent group. I was touched by the struggle people were having with “why?” I went to bed with a heavy heart and awoke with this story. I hope you enjoy it.
